Nottingham Arms
A pub that is named after its own city. Closed. Forever. So sad.
And part of a community that contained such great pubs as the Dover Castle, the White Horse and the Plough. With only the Plough still remaining.
Now flats. And with no acknowledgement of the fact that it's a former pub. Unlike many converted pubs these days. A shame.

The Grove
Until the 90s this pub was a Home Ales pub - right next to the Home Brewery. Advertising Home Ales on its walls. But sadly, it is now nothing but a relic with a hand car wash in its former car park.

The Happy Return
Having discovered this pub only a week or two before I was gutted to find that this pub of around 40 years had gone. Sorry to not have been.

Bestwood Hotel
The pub that served the former Bestwood colliery. An historic pub once serving hundreds of miners coming off their shift. Now closed and waiting to be turned into flats.
